Help me run my ISOz plzI don't know why so many people believe that I'm a good place to get help with pirating games. It's not like I make a secret of my anti-piracy stance. Still, time and again I get emails like this - without even an attempt to hide the intention... Pirate writes: >>hi, Fanjita replies: >I recommend trying the UMD, that should work fine. Pirate is still confused: but i want to play it without the UMD, thats the whole point of downloading Umm... no. Comments

Well since DAX is not your format per se, you should just give him Alex's email address. That oughta be fun
![]() Comment (1)
Just tell him to go to the recovery menu and delete all the files in his flash0: That should do the trick!

Damn Pirates. No wonder the psp hasn't got that many good games because games creators must be scared to make a psp game because they will not make money since pirating! That pirate is a thieving looser
Comment (1)
peeps should just buy them and rip them to thier mem sticks

hmm.. Need to say people like him are hopeless to talk with. For me as an european its a pretty good way to download some games to "check" how the game is and if it is worth to import. Pitty that so much stuff is coming late to EU so you have to use import services alot of time. When i dont like the game i delete is anyway cause im not interested in having 'em all. Just the 1s i like

It's devlopers like yourself who keep the scene alive, both homebrew and PSP (being Sony in general). I work for a game development company and I know for a fact if we spent for example, 500,000.00 creating a game and made 3,000.00 because everyone just downloaded our game, that we would discontinue making the game no matter how popular. I do love what you and others do. I do not love what pirates do. I think Sony knows this too. They have no problem with homebrew, it's the matter of those stealing games. That is what's ruining this great industry!
Thanks again for staying true to your beliefs. I do not know you, but you are truly a good man and this I can tell. Comments (3)
I don't see why people wanna use ISO's because ISO's are normally used by pirates. I don't see how hard it is to carry UMDS around. just get a UMD case thats why people make UMD cases. Also ISO's may be faster than UMDs but drain battery power quicker ( battery eater)
Comment (1)
Bull - UMD's actually drain the battery more - FACT!!!

When the PSP came out. Sony said the UMD was unhackable....couple of monthes later hackers cracked it! wow sony great job! Due to Sonys port effort of making the UMD unhackable they released fw 1.51 which added a security update that patches the exploit. but was too late because they released 1.50 first. FW 1.00 and 1.50 had an unsigned code which could run homebrew but i think that say if sony first fw was the official 3.03 and called it 1.50. would homebrew and ISOs ever be able to exsist because 3.03 is non homebrew capable since 3.03 is patched. Anyway damn those pirates

WHY was the custom firmware made so that isos could be run? why nt just unlock the psp and nt have this as a feature. Is the dark Alex's fault? cause someone implemnted the feature it didnt just come with the downgrader did it? Who do we blame for this? Does Dark Alex support piracy? (im nt sayin that he does just questioning) we know fanjita doesn't and his intentions. people seem to be quick to blame the pirates (and rightly so) but i think we should look to why we can

even if the custom firmware was made so iso's couldnt run the pirates would just use devhook
i rip my games to iso for the speed of the load times using usbhost and the usb plugin for 3.10OE-A makes it less portable but convenient as i dont need to switch UMDs all the time or repeatedly delete memstick to put on another game piracy sucks but iso loading rules its just a pity that they go hand in hand Comment (1)
No I do not think we should look to the developers.(Fanjita, Dark Alex). They made this possible to pirate yes. Yet is the responsibility of the user. And his/her morals. To do the right thing. Dark Alex. Was interviewed by the BBC (euorpean news company) About this. His reply was as stated above. And his reason for allowing ISO loading was simple. So that users could backup the games they owned. As they have that right.
As for pirating. Dark Alex HATES IT. And anyone posting about it on his forums gets a instant ban. Do no blame the develper. Should we ban all computers because poeple use them to hack other people. Hell no. Its not Dell's fault the hacker hacked someone. Its the hackers fault. Nobody else's Same with pirates. It's not fanjita or Dark Alex's fault. Its the person using it for wrong that is to blame. I personally do NOT support pirating. But I do support ISO's I use them on everything (music cd's, PC games, playstation, PSP) However I OWN everything i backup. Comments (4)

josedavid407@hotmail.com Comment (1)
I would like re-iterate that i was simply asking questions not blaming anyone. I fully support you Shadow and i am sorry if i caused any grief/hurt to anyone. Thanks

KeegY. I am not flaming you or tryieng to argue with you in any way. Simply tryieng to teach you something. The responisbility for pirating does not fall on the shoulders of those that create the methods. The blame falls souly on the person using those methods to obtain things without purchasing the origional content. And to be nice I will answer your questions.
"WHY was the custom firmware made so that isos could be run?" So that users could back up their games and keep their origional disks safe from wear and tear. "why nt just unlock the psp and nt have this as a feature." Because sony should have included this as a feature in the first place. Because it is our right to have the ability to keep our content safe from harm. While still being able to enjoy it through backups. "Is the dark Alex's fault?" No. It is the pirates fault and his alone. "Who do we blame for this?" The person stealing games that the developers worked so hard to create. "Does Dark Alex support piracy?" Not at all and never will. I hope that clears things up a bit for you. Comments (4)
Hi!I am from Russia and i hear much legend for 3.10 downgrader please Fanjita can you ask me on my question downgrader for 3.10 real? Please when downgrader ready?Комментарий (1)

Dima. I can help you with that. The answer as of right now, is no. Sorry
![]() There is no downgrader beyond 3.03 I will stress however that a 3.11 downgrader is in the works. However it may or may not be released, if it's even developed. Your best bet is to hold on to that firmware and wait. Cause if you upgrade any more. Chances are you will prolong your waiting. Now this is just my opinion and personal experiances ( I was the dumb one who went to 2.71 with a ta-082 mobo) And I remember when that was a lost cause. So don't fret. It may not be possible now. But it could be soon. As I always say. Nothing is impossible, merely improbable. That means that just cause something is not very likely to happen does not mean that it can not happen. Townsfolk said to Orville and Wilber Wright "You will never get that thing off the ground" Yeah is that why we have space ships now? Comments (4)
And 3.11 real?

Now i cannont downgrader 3.10 and 3.11.What about 3.30?
Comments (4)
Is I stated earlier. There is no downgrader beyond 3.03. So just hang in there. One will come soon for 3.03 perhaps. As for anything beyond that like 3.10, 3.11, or 3.30 probably not for months to come. Sorry, but that is the price you were willing to pay when you upgraded.

What about 3.30?

What about 3.30?
Not at this moment What about 3.40? Not at this moment What about > 3.40? not at this moment When ? Nobody knows. just Keep praying ![]() Comment (1)
Dima I must let you know this plain and simple. And this is not a flame, you just need to do a bit more research and understand what Shadow is trying to tell you =]
First off this is not a forum to discuss a downgrader, these are comments for Fanjita Comments (3)
Sorry, it seems my entire message was wiped out and left only what is above. But what I was saying was to Shadow first off, thanks for trying to help someone without getting angry over wild questions being asked.
And to you Dima, like Shadow said hang in there, you will be homebrewing soon. But as I am all over PSP forums (small time developer myself) I see nothing but people DEMANDING as 3.10, 3.11, 3.30 downgrader.. It's terrible. I mean we have to look at what the Noobz team did for us. We at least owe it to them a small donation. Even a dollar? But yes indeed. Good work to these men. I just wish the best of luck to you Dima. It may be a while, it may not be. We don't really know. But your time will come =] You all take care and be good to yourselves. Also if you are able to, make a donation. I'm not with their team or anything but I did the same myself. Take care mates! Comments (3)
i am a develper like you and d.a so i say keep up the work we need more people like us for toughs who do not under stand our work go learn something new.aka ghost
